Spring has sprung.
All the wild ducks are hatching out their babies. Miss Bobby below 👇 has hatched hers and is heading off to the river with them. Bob and Bobby Duck have been coming here to our place and hatching out their babies for a lot of years now.
The weather has been glorious for a few days, but today it turned and we had rain again.
It’s been busy, I have the little grandkids for the 5 night stint, onto #4 tonight. Summer has decided that anytime between 4.20 and 5.20am is a good time to wake up 🙇♀️, that what we’ve had the past 3 nights.
Meant to be daycare tomorrow but it’s back up to Drs tomorrow, think she has yet another bout of foot and mouth. That’s about the 6th or 7th time this year. Received a email from them last week to say that they had a case confirmed and to keep our eyes on Summer as they know she is susceptible to it. Not impressed with the daycare, lovely educators and great set up and Summer loves the place BUT something is not right. Why is there so many bouts of these foot and mouth and school sores happening there? Is it the daycare or the parents not following health guidelines.
I’m off to work tomorrow and the next day. Before work I’m taking Summer to Drs for a check up to be 100% sure she has foot and mouth. If she has Kylee will have to leave work early to care for her.
Friday we are heading off for 6 nights to go camping. I’m going to do my best to keep as much to WW as I can. Have already precooked a few things and froze them ready to pack to keep me focused. I don’t want to fall off the wagon while I’m doing well. Plan to do some beach walking, some fishing…so fresh fish on the bbq is on the menu.
400grams lost on my weigh in Saturday. 👏👌
Go me 😊
