I managed…..

Another loss…700g down. I’m happy with that, especially as last Saturday I ate as though eating was going out of fashion.

I’ve had my 1st week of work with the new company that took over. Wonderful friendly people so far, very professional but not over the top. Not a real fan of the uniform…..mainly coz I think I look like a policeman 👮‍♂️….but because I have to have the shirt tucked in (which shows off my belly apron 😳) wear a belt and also because I have to iron the dratted  thing!! I do not iron!! Going to have to dig deep and find the darn thing. I’ll get a pic of me in uniform soonish. My supervisor is a lovely lady and has given me the hours I require. That was made hard for her because centre management has cut down our cleaning time in the centre by over 2 hours. They not too happy about those changes 😚

I’m nearly at my first weight loss mini goal, and I do have to admit though sometimes I feel I’m not getting there fast enough BUT I am FEELING  a heck of a lot better within myself.

A loss, then…….

Weighed in (lost 500g) Friday morning as that afternoon Shawn was hosting his friends and workmates to his birthday BBQ at ours.

I worked at not over indulging and I didn’t, well not much, but come Saturday I could NOT stop eating, I made short work of the leftovers 😳

I counted everything and believe me the damage was BIG. I was so peeved off at myself.

We were so proud of our son. He handled hosting his party with ease and enjoying showing off us and his home to his friends.
It’s been 5 years of him being drug free and out of trouble. In that 5 years, he has paid off all his fines, bought himself a car and a 4x4. He has had part time work which led him to the permanent position he has now.
His friends and work mates that came to his bbq spoke very highly of him to us and kept on telling us what a great person he is. So so proud.

Anyways Sunday I got my act together and I’m very firmly back on track.

Fingers crossed  I haven’t done too much damage 🤞

I’ve got till Saturday to rectify the damage.

And onwards

This cat of mine….just look at it. A real little lady she is….NOT!!

Actually she is a real menace. Spoilt rotten she is too. Thinks she is a dog and is constantly chewing/ripping up paper. Has a “you beaut” scratching house/poles and what does it do….scratch and claw my near new dining chairs….one is just wrecked 😢

Another thing she does is sleep in our room, has her own blanket in the corner, but if we move any time after dawn she is “kangaroo hopping” over us to wake us up so she can be fed. Persists till we get up. Last few mornings I have had no work and no grandkids so when she started at 5.45 am I grabbed her and put her in the other bathroom with her cat kibbles and shut the door!!  I made sure she then had to wait till I was up and ready to feed her in my time.

I love her dearly, quirks and all.

Other news. The cleaning company I work for, and have done so for over 10 years has been told. Boss man is retiring due to illness.
So new bosses, new rules coming up. Met the new lady boss Tuesday and signed up to work. Will see how it goes.

Little ones are with Dad this week. Skye has been out staying with friends and family….all enjoying last week of school holidays.

Weigh in this morning…..I hopped on the scales, read it, read it again…..moved them and read it and read it again, must have done that about 10 times. I lost 1.6. Yep 1.6!!!
I was over the moon.
After our trip away I came back with swollen ankles…a lot of water retention so I’m thinking that was a lot of my gain.
Anyways…ww is working for me. I’m happy, I’m not denying myself anything, I just make sure if I eat it, I track it 😊. The day before yesterday I craved bread. I ate way more than I usually eat, but I tracked it…and then made sure the next day I had none. Balance ehhh..

I’m back….

We had the best 6 nights away. So relaxing, so quiet and peaceful. Just me and hubby enjoying the great outdoors.

My weight was down 700g before I left and I hoped to be able to maintain that loss whilst away. BUT, even though I did beach walk almost every day and eat fresh fish I did indulge. Came home to a 1.4 gain and fluid retention. My ankles for some reason were 3 sizes bigger than normal 😳  Anyways I got straight back on the wagon, followed all my ww rules and have been planning and tracking.    Shhhhhh…a sneak look at my scales has shown I am quickly losing the gain.

Some pics…

Before we left Skye my foster daughter (and my granddaughter) passed her driving test on her first attempt, so proud of her 😍
Our first night camp was with our best friends who live 7 hours away from us, great to catch up with them. We stayed there on way back too

Our destination…rugged but beautiful coastline
Some mighty big blowholes. Too calm for any big “blows”
Most beautiful sunsets and sunrises
Our camp on wheels. So easy to unpack, set up and boil the kettle and cook a meal.
